Chris Henry

Assistant Scout Leader

Chris has been involved with 1st Castle Hill Scout Group since 2006 and is highly respected by everyone.  Chris grew up in Tasmania and was a Scout in his youth.

Chris enjoys being a leader because it is satisfying to see youth develop through the important years of 10-15 and play a small part in their development

Having had 2 kids come through the group, Jess - 4 years & Jackson – 6 years and although they left some years ago, he has stayed on.

Hobbies include but not limited to: Camping, Cooking, Golf, Eels fan, Obstacle Races & Martial Arts

Cathryn Morden

Assistant Scout Leader

Cathryn has been involved with Scouting since the age of 15 and went on to earn her Queen's Scout.

Cathryn has been involved with 1st Castle Hill Scout Group since 2008 when her son joined Cubs. In 2013 when her Daughter joined the Scouts, Cathryn saw the need for a female leader so she started training for the position.

Cathryn, especially likes to see the Scout's progress through the award system and how they change and grow

Cathryn enjoys the friendships, camping and outdoor activities.

Stephen Barns

Assistant Scout Leader

Stephen has been involved with 1st Castle Hill Scout Group for over 10 years, after he transferred from Kellyville.

Joachim Schiller

Assistant Scout Leader (In Training)

Having been a Scout in his youth, Joachim introduced his son Matthew to Scouting in 2018. He initially joined the committee as Assistant Treasurer before deciding to get more involved by training as a Scout leader.

Joachim enjoys helping the Scouts with the award scheme and seeing their joy and sense of achievement as they progress.

Joachim hobbies include Camping, Hiking, Outdoors and tinkering with technology, both Software and Hardware.

Jane Jiang

Assistant Scout Leader (In Training)

Jane started involving in Scouting as a cub leader in 2016 and joined 1st Castle Hill Scouts in 2018 when her daughter joined the group and she decided to be trained as a Scout leader.

Jane loves to see the children grow into more mature and resilient young adults. She enjoys hiking and outdoor activities, and loves reading and cooking.

Peter Gair

Assistant Scout Leader (In Training)

Peter's son James, joined 1st Castle Hill Scout Group in 2014 and in 2015 decided that his son shouldn't have to endure all the fun alone so he went into training to become a leader.

Peter enjoys being a leader because it is satisfying to see his own son as well as other children develop into fine young people.

Hobbies include but not limited to: Camping, Hiking, Flying, Wine & Web Technology.
