My experience here at 1st Castle hill has been wonderful, and joyful, I've enjoyed every bit of scouts here at 1st castle hill. I've made lots of friends in my year of scouts and I hope to make more.

Hi Ford, Cee Jay, Gramps, Stretch, Hawkeye and Wozza,

James has decided to move on to Venturers.
He is 15 in 2 weeks and has decided this is the right time.

I would like to thank you all for your commitment to Scouts. Thanks for the time you give up. Thanks for the enthusiasm you always show. Thanks for the encouragement you offer. Thanks for being fantastic role models.

James has benefited a lot from Scouts. He stuck with it for 3 years which is a first for James. He has learnt a lot and grown in many ways.
He has done many things he would not have had the opportunity to do elsewhere. His highlights would be shooting and flying.

His discovery of the scout flying centre at Camden has allowed him to pursue his passion for flying. In Venturers he will be able to make more use of this facility.

You are really wonderful people and I thank you for making a difference to my child’s life.

See you around
Yours in scouting
Karen

Dear Leaders,

I must first and foremost, convey our (Penny and I) heartfelt gratitude and thanks to each and everyone of you ... I know for a fact, that Josh has matured tremendously from his time spent at Scouts under your leadership and guidance over the years. He has also learnt to appreciate and love the outdoors and be helpful to those around him and more mindful of the environment - not to mention tight with his money - oops I meant thrifty .. 8o) . From a boy, who had to be forced to be in scouts initially, to one who now loves and appreciate his time spent in scouts is definitely a testament to the influence you all have had over his life. As a patrol leader, he has also learnt to be more responsible, understanding that he is now responsible for more than just himself.

I know that Josh is ready to move on. He is eager to join his seniors who are now in Venturers whom he got along so well with. And no doubt, under Smoky's guidance, he is in good hands.

So a HUGE thank you Gramps, Ford, Cee Jay, Stretch and Hawkeye - for all that you have done over the years and to know that you have made a positive difference. Rest assured, you will be hearing from me. I am mulling about becoming a scout leader in the future and will be in touch if you guys are still there... 8o)

Regards

KK

Australian Jamboree – 2019

Jonathan, Hawkeye, Stretch, Gramps and Bigfoot,

A huge Thank you for all the support in getting our kids to and from Adelaide Jamboree.

Kieran had a fantastic time and really and enjoyed the whole experience.

Some of his highlights were the sailing & land sailing, shooting, water activities, obstacle course and tech stuff.  He is also very proud of getting all the WA badges and to my surprise, even stitched some on during the bus trip back.

Thank you again for taking such good care of them and giving up your personal time to go on the trip also.
