This camp is traditionally our first camp of the year an is held in February and is a combined camp for both Cubs & Scouts. We leave the hall at 5:30pm Friday & return to the hall at approximately 4:00pm on Sunday, after we have lunch on the beach.
This camp is held at the Austinmer Scout Hall, just a short distance from the beach!
Boogie Boards, balls, cricket sets etc. are encouraged!
We will need assistance with transport and parents are welcome at camp as always.
This has become our traditional first camp of the year over the last few years and the cubs come along too which is great!!

Scouts will only be going to the beach if it is open with lifeguards on duty and will only be swimming between the flags with leader supervision. Scouts may also be swimming with the cubs in the enclosed beach pool.
It is very important that the form below is fully completed and the swimming and water activities boxes are ticked.
We will be very focussed on being Sunsmart, all scouts will need a wide brimmed hat and rashies for swimming in, that is for the girls too.
Scouts can pack light for this camp – sturdy shoes, water bottle, mess kits are a must though.
